In the last city election, the republican vote in the 5th ward was 40% which is way over that of the cities average. Congratulations 5th ward!

Malik Neal, a runner-up in the “Great Debate” received his start here from within the 5th ward, working and servicing the ward. Mr.Neal is featured in the Bulletin article “Neal Runner Up, ‘Now Debate This’ he did not win the debate but came in second place receiving $50,000 towards college.
